What you need
½ cup butter
½ cup demarera sugar
½ to 1 tablespoon golden syrup
2/3rd cup oats
Pinch salt
Shallow baking tin sponge size I think 8 inches in old measure
What you do
In saucepan slowly heat and mix butter, sugar, syrup, and salt whilst stirring.
Pour in oats and mix well.
Turn out on baking paper lined round tin.
Bake for 20 mins at 175C or until light golden brown
Cut into slices while still warm.
