The second weekend of December will see B.A.D drags visit the Gippsland Motorplex for the second annual event. Now don't be alarmed they are not really bad,.... powerful, spectacular, awesome machinery certainly, the B. A. D. simply stands for "Bitumen and Dirt Drags".
For those unaware of where the Gippsland Motorplex is located 150 Aerodrome Road Bairnsdale, adjacent to the airport on the east side. Access is easy and plenty of parking, Catering onsite with full facilities, it is sure to be a great weekend.
The event will be held over two days Friday Dec 7th and Saturday Dec 8th. Gates open at 12 noon Friday with night racing from 6 pm, Sure to be be a great sight with events including Kids 50 cc racing, Trail and Road bikes, Harley's (who could hold an event without them) and even V8 Bikes will all be there racing and providing the spectacle and entertainment.
Just to make life really interesting displays by Quads, Stunt Riders, a Burn Out comp and Grudge Racing will add to the fun.
Live Music, Trade Stalls and a Motorcycle Swap Meet make this an un-missable event for all and any petrol heads and for those who just want to experience something different.
If you have never been, try this out for size, the sounds the spectacle the small of hot engines and hot oils.....! All this for a general admission of $20, now that is great value.
Just remember this is a great event which brings huge business to this region so
